Trail Side Park is the newest addition to the Parks & Recreation Department. Development started in 2022 by the encouragement of the Belmont Tourism Commission. The idea was to create a downtown atmosphere for residents to gather while hosting a community event or have a destination for trail riders to gather while getting off the dusty trail for a drink or a meal at our local businesses. The park was created to show local support of our businesses and help them by encouraging visitors to our community. This park is allowed to have public events only. Currently there will be NO private events allowed due to no restroom facilities and concerns with noise from private events as the park is closed by 10 PM.
