The Belmont Food Pantry was started in 1993. The initial startup money was donated by the Lutheran Brotherhood, now know as Thrivent, in memory of Albert Thomas a former employee of theirs.
The Food Pantry is limited to only families in the Belmont School District. It is open on the Second Thursday of each month from 5 PM to 6 PM. The Food Pantry to located in the basement of the Belmont Methodist Church located at 101 E. State Street.
Volunteers are essential in keeping the Pantry stocked and available. Your donations are welcome.
